Overview

Many videographers now use DSLRs to capture stunning, high-definition video images at a very affordable price. Cameras like the EOS 1D Mark IV, EOS 5D Mark II, EOS 7D, EOS 60D and the new EOS 600D can match or surpass the quality of movies shot on 35mm film. In this workshop, you will learn to harness the power of the DSLR to create videos of exceptionally high quality.

Course contents are structured to equip students with the fundamentals of video production.

The course instructor will lead students through the practical stages of pre-production all the way to post production to the final video presentation.

 

Pre-requisites
Students are expected to have good knowledge of the following:

• Functionalities of your personal DSLR camera
• Photography theory (i.e. you know the difference between f/2 and f/22, why you would choose one over the other, and how to use camera in manual)

 

Requirement

• Any DSLR user with PC/Mac laptop installed with Adobe Premiere Elements or Premiere Pro CS
• Participants can attend this workshop with their laptop installed with Premiere trial version if they do not own the software
