Overview

Canon Imaging Academy is bringing back this all-time popular destination to all avid photographers.
Workshop is led by Mr Pang Piow Kan, multiple international awards winning photographer from Penang, whose experience with this area is unparalleled.
Hence participants can look forward to maximum photographic opportunities on a good weather day (with blue skies and emerald green sea water).
Guidance will be provided for any beginners along the programme while intermediate photographers should not miss out this location if travel & people genre is your favourite photographic subject.

Minimum requirement: Attended a basic photography course or equivalent; or at least know the difference between f/2 and f/22, why you would choose one over the other, and how to use camera in manual

Please note there is no direct flight from Singapore to Tawau, Sabah. We recommend purchase a return trip up to Kuala Lumpur Airport & transit from there.

Do note that the flight schedule listing here is with accordance to assist customers purchase their ticket for each respective journey. We will notify customers the time to purchase tickets only when we have the minimum numbers to go ahead.

  • Must be physically fit to carry out daily personal chores and handling of photographic equipment
  • To withstand long hours of daily boat ride, from island to island. Sea conditions are generally calm but can be rough at times
  • Weather is predicted to be extremely hot during April and participants must be able to endure the conditions
  • Meals will be provided at irregular hours subject to daily itinerary
