Overview

Canon Imaging Academy is kicking off the 3rd run of a popular travel destination for its Travel Photography Workshop series; Xiapu coastline of Fujian Province in China. Additionally there are new spots discovered to bring new perspective photo-taking experience.

Being the leader of the workshop as well as a top-notch photographer, Chen Feng will be providing photography sessions / tips during the course of the trip (field shooting / theory). There will also be a presentation on post processing of photos taken during the course.

The itinerary (for Xiapu Coastline and Nanjing Earth Building) is carefully planned to maximize ideal shooting conditions for participants. With good weather forecast, participants are assured to go home with beautiful photos that will enchant all.

Full day shoot at Xiapu (霞浦)
Mantou Shan & Dong Bi beach

Day 3
Full day shoot at Xiapu (霞浦)
Xiao Hao beach (小浩) & Sha Jiang beach (沙江)

Day 4
Full day shoot at Xiapu (霞浦) & Lian Jiang (连江)
Bei Qi (北歧) coast, Qi Du Beach & Lian Jiang Fishery Port

Day 5
Full day shoot at Lian Jiang (连江) & Zhang Jiao
Lian Jiang Fish Farm (连江鱼排) & Stone house village (樟角石头村)

Day 6
Full day shoot at Nanjing (南靖) & Xiao Zha Fishing Port
Fisher women at work (蟳埔女) & Nanjing Earth Building (南靖土楼)

Day 7
Full day shoot at Zhang Pu & Volcanic Island
Zhang Pu Earth building, Volcanic Island & overnight at Jimei

Day 8
Drive back to Xiamen & return flight to Singapore

Must be physically fit to carry out daily personal chores and handling of photographic equipment
Strong endurance as shooting will start from 5:00am to dinner time daily. There will be breaks (travelling from point A to point B) or rest back in the hotel during noon time
Meals may be provided at irregular hours subject to daily itinerary
